The Landing
Synopsis
Mike Edwards is a soldier in an elite undercover unit for the government. One night a mysterious craft crashes over the moors of Yorkshire. Mike's unit is called in to deal with the situation.
However, through the events that unfold that night, Mike finds himself on the run and a very wanted target by the Ministry of Defence whom will stop at nothing to capture him.
The chase for Mike leads him all across the UK and even a submarine before a climatic speed boat chase down the Thames.
But what role does the mysterious craft hold in these events ?

I wrote the landing whilst at college when I was seventeen. I was originally (and still planning to) add a section to my chance1234.com for abandon projects, and whilst digging through my old files for this I came across the manuscript for The Landing. Which in all honestly I had totally forgotten about. It was well and truly abandoned.
I was going to put a pdf for download on the site, but reading through it again, I kind of figured the effort that went into it, (mainly sneaking into the computer room to write it) deserves the price of a pint (or even two or three!) so decided to do the vanity publishing route including adding a moody picture to the back in the hope that it will earn some cash towards the afore mentioned beer.
I just want to stress again I was seventeen when I wrote this. The Landing is no way a literature masterpiece and its a stretch even using the word literature in describing it.
It has a very far stretch of the imagination plot, very week characters and probably a ton of continuity errors as well as gaping holes in well, lots of things. The X files was on television a lot back then and you can blame that.
